Hot Time in Bremerton

Hello racers and race fans.

A moment of reflection for the racing community lost a great racer, friend, dad, and all-around good guy with the passing of Kyle Seipel.

Let’s go racing! Bremerton Raceway action on Saturday.

Twenty-one racers for the National Open, but only twenty signed up for the Super Street Association race. Allen Macham, Becky Brown, Bill Carrell, Brad Craig, David Monsaas, Dennis Boley, Gary Ericksen, Jay Schmid, Jeff Jackson, Jess Dale, Justin Sibley, Mark Lofts, Michelle Lewis, Patrick Carrell, Todd Sims, Ron Schiel, Darrick Ellam, Matt Danielson, Don Sefton, and Bill Kubeck.

Two qualifying sessions. After the dust settled, David Monsaas was #1 at 6.901. Snap On Tools sponsored the #1 award and Loftis Racing was the event sponsor.

David M had the bye. Then Jay took out Bill with a better light. Matt forced Jeff to break out. Allen beat Patrick. Jess judged the finish line better than Ron and got the win. Justin had a much better light to beat Darrick and his 6.901. Becky got the nod when Mark L went way too quick. Brad got the win due to a red light by Dennis. Michelle Lewis overcame a late start and won against Jason (not entered). Don in a borrowed car beat Todd. Gary had a better light and won against Bill.

Then came round two. Allen moved ahead with a 6.901 against Matt. David M was the winner over Justin. Becky defeated Don. Jess then forced Brad to break out. Gary went 6.903 to force Jay to break out. Michelle had the bye

Round three was a little different because the ladder in the timing system was not set up correctly. Should have been three pairs, but we had two pairs and two singles. The ladder has been corrected. David M used a .009 light to force a double break out with Allen. Allen lost. Then Jess was the winner when Michelle broke out. Gary and Becky both had singles.

Four cars left. David M was a little late, but Becky was a little quick and gave the win to David. Then Jess used a holeshot to defeat Gary.

In the final, Jess was the winner when David M went red.

Congratulations to Jess Dale and thanks to Snap On Tools and Loftis Racing.
