Weekend at Bremerton

Ok racers let’s go to Bremerton Raceway.

Ok turnout, twelve racers signed up. Allen Macham, Becky Brown, Bill Carrell, David Monsaas, Dennis Boley, Jay Schmid, Jess Dale, Michelle Lewis, Patrick Carrell, Todd Sims, Brad Craig, and Mark Loftis.

We got two attempts at qualifying, and Miss Becky Brown slapped a 6.900 on the board for the #1 spot. Thanks to Snap-On Tools for the prizes and thanks to Bremerton Raceway for the race sponsorship.

Let’s go racing. Brad started with a .003 to defeat Todd. Then Allen moved to round two against Patrick. Jay got the win when Bill went red. Michelle was a winner against a slowing David M. Jess got the nod because Dennis was working and could make the call. Becky moved on due to Mark having a broke truck.

Round two started with Allen and .009 light to wreak havoc on Brad. Then Michelle got the win light when Jay broke out. Becky forced Jess to break out more for the win.

Allen then used a better light to force Michelle to a bigger break out – 6.898 to 6.896. Becky had the bye.

Final round time. Allen brought his A game. .005 – 6.919 to defeat Becky’s quicker 6.908. Big shout out to winner Allen, thanks to Snap-On and Bremerton Raceway for the extra stuff.

Sunday morning broke bright and clear. Allen Macham, Becky Brown, Bill Carrell, David Wakefield, Dennis Boley, Jay Schmid, Jess Dale, Michelle Lewis, Patrick Carrell, Todd Sims, and Brad Craig paid to race.

Sunday we only got one qualifying pass. Allen whipped out a 6.904 to get the award from Snap-On Tools.

The call went out for round one. Dennis and Jess paired up. Dennis got the win. Then Brad and David W matched up. Brad won when David W was late at the tree. Todd defeated Bill. Jay had a slightly better light and beat Michelle. Then Becky went .000 against Patrick. Patrick went red and lost. Allen started his march to a double up with the bye.

In round two, Allen moved forward against a breakout by Todd. Jay got win when Dennis went red. Becky and Brad had the same exact light, but Becky went 6.900 for the win.

Allen then used a slightly better light for the holeshot win over Becky. Jay had the bye.

Final round time. Could Allen pull off a double weekend. Jay had a better .003 light, but Allen played the finish line better to get the second win in the second day. Congratulations to Allen Macham and thanks to Snap-On Tools and Bremerton Raceway for the sponsorship.

The next race is May 29 and 30 at Renegade Raceway in Yakima. There will NOT be a potluck at the event.
