Spring Weekend at Pacific

Race three. Pacific Raceways. Ok weather, but there is not a 5pm curfew on Saturday.

Good turnout, fourteen racers signed up. Allen Macham, Becky Brown, Bill Carrell, Dave Wakefield, Dennis Boley, Jay Schmid, Jess Dale, Patrick Carrell, Todd Sims, Gary Ericksen, Justin Sibley, Lloyd Flatum, Shane Emil, and Eric Berge.

We got two attempts at qualifying, and Allen Macham went 10.910 before Shane Emil for the #1 spot. Thanks to Snap-On Tools for the prizes and thanks to FBN Racing for the race sponsorship.

Let’s go racing. Gary used a better light for force Shane to break out more. Todd got the win when Bill went to quick. Dave won over Lloyd in a double break out race. Becky went .001 to force Patrick to break out. Allen had the bye. Justin got the win when Jay went red. Jess got the nod because Eric was a no show.

Round two started with Todd and Justin. Justin had a better light, but Todd went closer to the index in the double break out race. Becky won when Dave was uncharacteristic late at the tree. Jess then beat Allen and Gary had the bye run.

In the semi final round, Gary got the win because Todd went red, Jess had a better light and forced Becky to break out.

Finally, the final round. Jess and Gary. Jess was green, Gary was not. Jess Dale the winner. Congratulation to Jess Dale.

Sunday was a much better day weather wise, but we had that nasty 5pm curfew.
