Bremerton Summer Racing

Let’s go racing at Bremerton Raceway. Race 10 and 11.

We had seven racers dedicated to the race season. Bill Carrell, Dave Wakefield, Jess Dale, Michelle Lewis, Patrick Carrell, Tony Brothers, and Jeff Jackson entered the event.

In the first round of qualifying Jess Dale locked up #1 with a great 6.900. Thanks to Snap-On Tools for the award. Robert’s Floor Covering was the race sponsor.

In round one P Carrell got the win when Wakefield went .001 red, ouch. Brothers beat B Carrell with a 6.909 run. Jackson used a .006 light to force Lewis to break out and Dale got the bye.

In the semi-final round, P Carrell won over Brothers on a double break out race. Dale ran a 6.908 to beat Jackson.

In the final, Dale had a better light and beat P Carrell.

Congratulations to Jess Dale and thanks to Robert’s Floor Covering for the race sponsorship.

Sunday dawned bright and early with very little cloud cover.

All seven racers stayed to battle on Sunday. The racers were Bill Carrell, Dave Wakefield, Jess Dale, Michelle Lewis, Patrick Carrell, Tony Brothers, and Jeff Jackson. Qualifying was pretty tight. In the first round Jackson went 6.905, then Lewis went 6.093, but P Carrell showed them all up with a 6.900. That locked up the #1 spot for Patrick. The race sponsor was Handler’s Racing Association.

Round one started with Brothers using a hole shot to beat Wakefield. Dale then took out Jackson. Lewis won when B Carrell broke and P Carrell had the bye.

Round two came and Brothers forced Lewis to break out. Dale won when P Carrell had issues.

The final round was Brothers and Dale. Brothers won on a hole shot. Congratulations to Tony Brothers and thanks to Handlers’ Racing Association for the sponsorship.

Next race is at Pacific Raceways on August 24. Only three races left.
